Shira Lile, Executive Director and Founder
Shira Lile found Hello Life in 2015 after moving to Cowlitz County and realizing there was a need for eating disorder recovery support.
Shira battled with an eating disorder for several years prior to moving to Cowlitz County and started the journey to her own recovery through writing a blog called Hello Life: A Year Without A Scale (www.hellolifeblog.com). She knew then, that making eating disorder recovery accessible for everyone was her calling in life.
Shira believes with all her heart that every individual has the right to a free and accessible pathway to eating disorder recovery. Her own lived experience, compassion for her community, and her deep desire to help others is what led her to be the founder and now Executive Director of Hello Life.
Shira is an Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy (EDIT) Certified 1 Eating Disorder Peer Support Provider and a Certified Body Positive Facilitator through the Body Positive.
